PlayShiksha ("we", "our", "us") operates playshiksha.com, an educational gaming platform. This policy explains what information we collect through the website itself (account creation, browsing, and general site use), how we use it, and the choices available to you and your family. Information We Collect

• Account information — name, nickname, email address, and, if you choose to sign in with Google or Facebook, the basic profile information those providers share with us.
• Usage data — games played, scores, achievements earned, and general site interactions, used to power features like the leaderboard and your own progress dashboard.
• Classroom data (teachers and schools) — for teacher and school accounts, we additionally process classroom rosters and attendance records created through the platform.
• Technical data — standard web log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to improve it. See "Analytics" below.
• Guest play — if you play without signing in, we record anonymous, non-identifying play data (e.g. that a particular game was completed) to support features like popularity rankings, without tying it to any personal information.

Children's Privacy

A significant part of our user base is students in school-age classes. We do not knowingly collect more information from a child than is reasonably necessary to provide the educational service itself (an account, their scores/progress, and — for classroom features — the link between a teacher/school and their students). We do not use children's data for behavioral advertising, and any advertising shown on this platform is configured for a general, contextual, non-personalized audience rather than tracking individual children across other sites. Parents and schools can contact us at any time (see "Contact Us" below) to review, correct, or request deletion of a child's account information.

How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the platform itself — accounts, saved progress, leaderboards, certificates.
• To let teachers and schools manage their own classrooms, assignments, and attendance.
• To communicate with you — account-related notices, and, only if you've opted in, product updates.
• To understand aggregate usage patterns (via Analytics) so we can improve the platform.
• To keep the platform safe — detecting abuse, enforcing our terms, and preventing fraud.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to collect standard web usage data. This data is used in aggregate for improving the platform and is not used to build individual advertising profiles of children. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only: with service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g. hosting, email delivery) under confidentiality obligations; with a student's own teacher or school, where a classroom relationship exists; with authentication providers (Google, Facebook) as part of the sign-in flow you initiate; or where required by law.

Your Choices

You can play as a guest without creating an account at all. If you have an account, you can update your profile information at any time, and can contact us to request that your account and associated data be deleted.
